Self-esteem is a broader concept and it involves being real. If someone else likes a burger and you like pizza, what’s wrong?
Won't you tell them your choice, yes you would? Similarly, if you encounter people in your life, always be real, be real to yourself when nobody is there and when everybody is there.
2 Having a clear vision
Your purpose in life is what differentiates your path from someone else's path of life. You need to understand every individual has a different pace of growth and therefore a clear vision helps you guide you in your life.

Is the task I am doing currently helping them to grow?

The main reason why people don’t believe in themselves is that they have accumulated so many negative beliefs about certain abilities. So it is essential to identify the negative beliefs and then work on improving upon those negative beliefs.

2 Identify the positive aspects of yourself
As human beings, we tend to be praised by others, but if we don’t get appreciated and criticized we feel much more negative about ourselves. The only solution to this problem is to identify our positives.
It is very necessary to know yourself when you know your strengths and capabilities, others’ opinions own matter and the criticism will turn out to help you in self-development. Most often we see a person who sticks around negative habits and people becomes a negative person whereas, on the other hand, a person who spends time with valuable people becomes more valuable.
The choice is yours, you wish to inculcate yourself with value or spoil your mindset with negativity. Let me give you an example: when you use social media in the morning, do you use it to read a valuable piece of content or do you scroll for fun?

4 Give yourself a break
Self-esteem doesn’t involve being self-efficient 24*7, it is not necessary that you will always feel good, happy, or in the same good mood. There are circumstances and difficulties in certain stages of our life, we need to understand that it is okay if we are not feeling alright at the moment.
Having rest doesn’t mean you quit, it simply means to let yourself recover and heal to come back stronger and with more productivity. So if you are feeling too stressed about certain aspects of your life, give yourself a break and get back later after a good rest.
6 Learn to say ‘NO’
If I ask you to go on a trip with some of your friends when you got a good corporate job and it is just your starting week?
Would you go, in spite of being aware of the fact your career is more important and the trip can be enjoyed later too? You shouldn’t go if you really understand how precious are your priorities in life but if you still go putting your job at risk, the reason is you get bothered by your friend’s opinions.
In life when such circumstances happen, make a decision that is a priority for you and learn to say no. Saying No doesn’t make you a bad person, you are responsible for your own life before anyone else would be, so take the right decisions.
Self-esteem isn’t accomplished overnight, self-esteem is like a process of transforming your habits, thoughts, and beliefs. You need to stay patient along the lane, it is an activity of small steps and every action you do each day to bring betterment in your life. It means when you feel happy you can enjoy and celebrate events but when you do have a setback, you shouldn’t blame yourself or feel negative. You should (Self-love) understand yourself, be kind, support yourself and take a step to improve on the situation. Practice building a positive mindset and eventually it would become a good habit to make your life worth adoring.
